Rick didn’t grow up with a silver spoon. As a military brat, he moved from Georgia to Virginia, Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and even Germany — learning adaptability, resilience, and the importance of structure. His father was often gone, and stability was hard to come by. But faith, hard work, and a commitment to family rooted themselves early in his life — thanks to a loving grandmother and a future filled with purpose.
Over the years, Rick has worn many hats: horseman, coach, math whiz, dad, husband, and now trusted retirement guide. Whether he’s coaching his grandson’s team, sitting poolside with family on a Sunday, or helping a client secure their income for the long haul, Rick shows up with the same calm, committed presence he’s lived by his whole life.

Before retirement planning, Rick raised and showed miniature horses with his family. At one point, they had 35 on the ranch. The work was endless — but it brought meaning, purpose, and joy.
